Scotland

Such an awesome time was had in Ireland, we loved seeing our friends and it was sad to see them go!  After a fun night out in Galway we packed up our bags and drove two hours back to Dublin to catch a flight.

Our next stop was one filled with wizards, scotch, kilts and bag pipes. From Harry Potter to unicorns (seriously, unicorns are the national animal!) and the Loch Ness Monster, Scotland was a magical place.  The Scots also know a thing or two about golf... they invented the sport.

We stayed a few nights in the very cool Edinburgh, traveled to Loch Lomond, the Highlands, Stirling Castle to pay tribute to William Wallace (freeeeedom!) and sipped on some fine scotch at a distillery...

The scenery of the highlands and Loch Lomond were incredible.  From there we headed East to the coast and relaxed in the quiet harbor town of Tayport (Sarah, we have to give you and Christian a shout out, thanks for the awesome Tayport hospitality!).  Tayport is just a short bus ride away from the famed golf course, St. Andrews, and is situated next to the beautiful Tentsmuir Forest, which we discovered was an awesome place to explore!

Our trip to Scotland was short but sweet.  The beautiful countryside, friendly people, and awesome history exceeded our expectations!

Now, time to stay out of trouble, next stop Amsterdam!
