Hong Kong
After our adventure in Japan we booked a flight to spend 6 nights in Hong Kong! Hong Kong, a former British colony and now territory of China, is home to over 200 islands, ranks as the 4th most densely populated sovereign state and has more skyscrapers than any city in the world!
We would spend our time exploring the Kowloon peninsula and Hong Kong island where we would witness the worlds largest light show, practiced our Cantonese, partied with British expats, shopped in the local and very packed markets of Mongkok, visited the Tian Tan Buddha, and ate the best dim sum and roast duck, often found hanging in storefront windows!
Here are a few of our favorite memories from our time whooping it up in the world class city...

The energy in Hong Kong was awesome. It was great to experience a new city in Asia with such a different culture and culinary scene. The hustle and bustle city vibe is something we love, but we also looove beach time!!! (who doesn't?!?) With that in mind, we decided to head south for 10 days of beaches and meditation.... next stop, Bali!
