Bali, Indonesia
We made our way from the edgy and fast paced city of Hong Kong to the relaxing atmosphere on the exotic island of Bali, Indonesia. We spent 8 nights in Bali where we hung on the lively beaches of Seminyak before making our way to the village of Ubud, dotted with beautiful rice paddies, Hindu temples and famously known around the world as a place to disconnect with yoga and meditation retreats.
A quick recap from Bali life...

Lounging in Seminyak at La Plancha...

An evening sunset stroll.

We headed inland an hour north from the coast to the village of Ubud where we cruised around on a scooter, visited rice paddies, Hindu temples and Sean attempted his first ever yoga class, 2 hours long with the guru yogi Master Ketut Arsana!

Scootering around Ubud...

A visit to the Tirta Empul temple, a Hindu water temple located near the town of Tampaksiring. The temple consists of apetirtaan or a bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water where Balinese Hindus (and Sean) bath as part of ritual...

Exploring the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, known for their beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak or a traditional Balinese irrigation system...

The atmosphere on Seminyak beach to the temples, rice paddies, and peaceful zen setting of Ubud made Bali an amazing experience. To continue our island hopping tour its off to Malaysia to meet up with family friends on the adventure island of Langkawi!
