24 Hours in Singapore

After our 8 day stay in Malaysia we departed for 1 quick night in Singapore, a country located just a short flight away and one that would allow us to connect to our next big adventure (more on that at the end of this post).  Singapore is an island off southern Malaysia and a global financial center with a tropical climate, an incredible modern city landscape, and multicultural population.  We made visits to buddhist temples, ate street food, and visited the famous Cloud Forest in the Gardens By the Bay, home to incredible art and the worlds largest indoor waterfall!  A recap from our quick visit...

Our visit to Singapore was short but sweet and we enjoyed our time in the incredibly clean and high end world class city.  It also allowed us to prep for our upcoming 8 night adventure where we would travel by train searching for sea turtles, spend an afternoon hiking in the mountains, volunteer at a school, and learn to eat with our hands!  Next stop... Sri Lanka!
